InterConnect Malta Ltd. has launched a call for tenders for the provision of a Preliminary Marine Route Survey for the 2nd Cable Interconnection Project between Malta and Sicily. The services required include geophysical and geotechnical surveys of the whole offshore route and of the two proposed cable landing areas at Qalet Marku in Malta and Ragusa in Sicily. Additionally, the winning contractor will need to report the findings through the preparation of post survey studies. The surveys are planned to commence later this year following the award of the tender.
